Our Vision, Mission, and Values
Prosperity North Carolina envisions a fair, safe, and inclusive society in which the hard working members of rural counties in throughout North Carolina people are treated with dignity and respect.
Prosperity North Carolina Inc. works to build a more equitable and inclusive North Carolina for all people by advancing, achieving, and protecting civil rights through lobbying, legislative advocacy, grassroots organizing, coalition building and electoral involvement.
These efforts are designed to educate the general voting public, sensitize the media, promote a politically active and effective organizational membership, and better inform policy makers on issues of concerns of the under served
Prosperity North Carolina carries out this mission in accordance with the following values:

We embrace the working model of every successful grassroots organization; by implementing events and dispatching community builders to rural communities in North Carolina. We connect with everyday people and gaining an understanding of the issues they face. Our 'Community Builders' begin to impact their adopted communities through bandaid giving, for temporary alleviation of day-to-day needs, while advocating for long term change on a policy basis.
